CALL FOR RESEARCH PROJECT PROPOSALS
\n2nd<\/sup> EDITION<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Associazione Mia Neri Foundation Onlus (www.mianerifoundation.it<\/a>) will fund a basic research project in the field of pediatric brain tumors with a 100,000 \u20ac grant over a two-year period. Priority will be given to projects submitted by young investigators. The proposals will be reviewed by experts in the field and the winner will be decided by the Scientific Committee of the Associazione, based on the reviewers\u2019 evaluation.<\/p>\n

Research project proposals should be submitted to the Associazione at mianerifoundation@gmail.com<\/a> no later than June 30th<\/sup> 2022<\/strong> in the following format:<\/p>\n

  1. Proponent\u2019s name, short cv and contact details <\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Project title and abstract (half page)<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Background, including <\/strong>preliminary results <\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Hypothesis and specific aims<\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. Research plan<\/strong>, including expected outcomes<\/strong><\/li>\n
  6. Name of collaborators and contribution of each collaborator <\/strong><\/li>\n
  7. Budget
    \n<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Sections 3-5 should not exceed 5 pages, excluding figures and references. Font no smaller than Times New Roman 12, margins at least 2 cm each.<\/p>\n

    The proposals should be accompanied by a letter of acceptance of the Institution where the research project will be carried out.<\/p>\n

    The winner will be announced no later than October 31st<\/sup> 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Funds will be made available in two installments of 50,000 \u20ac each after clearance of the project by the local Ethics Committee<\/p>\n
