What is your academic and\/or professional background (degree and specialty)?<\/strong>
I have a degree in medicine and a specialty in pediatric oncology.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

What is your focus or particular interests in your field?<\/strong>
My focus is pediatric hematology, pediatric oncology, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and quality systems management.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

What is your position within the Board of Directors?<\/strong>
I am currently serving as President.<\/em><\/p>\n

What is your goal or hope for AIEOP?\u00a0<\/strong>
My hopes and thus goals include the expansion of the audience interested in our activities, the dissemination of information regarding these activities, and the increase in the interest and knowledge of our association.<\/em><\/p>\n

What is your life motto or quote in which you live by as a professional and individual?\u00a0<\/strong>
All children suffering from oncological, hematological or oncohematological pathology can be treated and must be treated without distinction of sex, class, wealth, ethnicity or religious belief.<\/em><\/p>\n

*** The AIEOP Board of Directors has the responsibility to\u00a0 achieve the statutory objectives and verify that the association’s activities are carried out in compliance with the provisions of the statute and regulations. It is their duty to promote and encourage all initiatives aimed at increasing and enhancing the humanisation of care for the hemato-oncological children and their families.<\/h6>\n<\/div>\n
