I graduated with a degree in Medicine and specialized in Pediatrics. My specific field of training and expertise is Onco-Hematology.<\/i><\/div>\n

What is your focus or particular interests in your field?<\/b><\/div>\n
Leukemias and Lymphomas, Infectious disease, late effects of childhood cancer treatment<\/i><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n
What are your specific tasks and responsibilities with the Board of Directors?<\/b><\/div>\n
My main responsibilities are to enable\u00a0clear and effective communication between the board and the GdLs, and optimize the activities related to central diagnosis.<\/i><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n
What is your goal or hope for AIEOP?\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n
My goal is for AIEOP to be a strong national cooperative group in the international scenario, able to guarantee to all children and adolescents throughout Italy, regardless of where they are born or live, access to advanced diagnostic strategies; treatment for oncologic and hematological diseases; and innovative therapies whenever necessary.\u00a0<\/i><\/div>\n
I also hope AIEOP will be an active point of reference for Institutions in supporting patients and their families dealing with childhood cancer as well as for long-term childhood cancer survivors.<\/i><\/div>\n

*** The AIEOP Board of Directors has the responsibility to achieve the statutory objectives and verify that the association’s activities are carried out in compliance with the provisions of the statute and regulations. It is their duty to promote and encourage all initiatives aimed at increasing and enhancing the humanisation of care for the hemato-oncological children and their families.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
